Prerequisite: Introduction to the Agricultural Industry, or Basic Ag Science, or Ag Mechanics, or Instructor Approval

This course will emphasize the development of basic welding and metalworking skills. Topics include: metal identification and properties, metal preparation, use of oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutting and cutting operations, arc welding, MIG Welding, TIG welding, and project design and construction. The course will also provide basic knowledge and skills related to agribusiness management and sales.
