CIS Sept/Oct Article
In September CIS year one students have learned about motherboards and their connectors. They have also taken a look at printers, and begun learning about the brain of the computer, the CPU. Year two students have been learning about the different modes in the Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch and how to do basic configuration. They have also been going over cabling, and building network topologies. We just finished a trip to Tri-Rivers Data Center and had the opportunity to converse with members from different areas of their IT Department, and talk with them about work and internship opportunities and what type of work they do that supports their customers.
