In the month of February, students learned how to bake with yeast, including recipes such as khachapuri, cinnamon rolls, and homemade pizza. They also learned how to prepare fresh pasta in a variety of ways, including chicken alfredo, carbonara, and ravioli. Finally, they were taught how to cook seafood, including coconut crusted tilapia, cajun shrimp and rice, and sushi. In the month of March, students will become proficient in breakfast cookery, balancing flavors, and cooking with fruit. Next month, students will hold a mock restaurant event.
