It's been a wonderful school year for Culinary Arts! Students have become proficient in culinary skills and a variety of cooking techniques. For the past few weeks, students have been preparing for the Mock Restaurant event. During this event, students transform our classroom into a functioning restaurant. They develop a menu, hone and refine the recipes, and practice different roles, such as servers, line cooks, and expediter. Parents and CareerTEC staff are invited to attend the event, during which they are served an appetizer, entree, and dessert. This provides students a real-world example of how a restaurant truly functions.
