Launch the media gallery 1 playerUpdates from HOYA 1. Over the past 2 weeks, the students have been in the skills lab almost daily! We have learned how to provide and assist residents with a partial bed bath, complete bed bath, perineal care, shaving, dressing, foot, nail, hair, and oral care. We also had other exciting opportunities. On November 6th, the students watched a live open heart surgery over Zoom, and on November 13th they attended their third job shadow! Over the next 2 weeks, we will learn about each body system including basic anatomy, primary functions, and how they work together with other body systems.
