HOYA Paint the Port

HOYA Students volunteered for Paint the Port on Thursday August 26th.  Paint the Port is an event for all ages.

It provides a street canvas for individuals to display their creativity. Each square raises money to fund the new  Freeport

Art Museum and the plaza by the post office. Our students filled 500 bags with supplies for painting and sponsor materials.

We also in the heat of the day marked the squares and painted the lines for the street canvases.  The students were extremely helpful and

the art center is always so thankful for our assistance. This has been a welcomed and valued project for many years. As a bonus

the students get out of the classroom and begin getting to know one another in a teamwork atmosphere.
